Your Caregiver

Positive Attitude and Training Go Hand in Hand

We know it's an honor for you to invite us into your home or the home of your loved one. That’s why we hire the best and most experienced candidates as caregivers, and we train and educate them beyond health care industry standards.

All our employees are trained in The Maplewood Way, a code of conduct and attitude that means we work together to provide you with our best efforts with every single interaction. Our home health aides are professionally certified, and each one is registered with the New York State Nurse Aide Registry.  We educate all our caregivers about the issues that affect those seeking our care, train them to be better listeners and teach them how to present themselves professionally at every step.

Essentially, we help our companion caregivers, home health aides, and nurses add the skills they need to be warm and caring companions. Because to us, you are like family, and we want you to have the very best care we can give.

As a client of Maplewood Home Care, you can rest assured in the knowledge that your loved ones are being cared for by the very best. We are proud of our staff and what they do each and every day.

During a typical four-hour shift, a caregiver or aide may provide but is not limited to:

  • Companionship and socialization
  • Light housekeeping and laundry
  • Meal preparation and clean up
  • Transportation to appointments
  • Shopping or other errands
  • Assist with bathing and personal care
  • Medication reminders
